The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) is looking forward to the 70th year of the Southeastern Convention and International Propane Expo, taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, April 21- 23, 2017. Expo numbers are pacing ahead of 2016 in attendance with more than 4,000 participants expected at this year’s three-day event. The Expo is shaping up to be another record-breaking year that already includes representatives from nearly 250 exhibiting organizations.
An outstanding line up of more than 40 educational opportunities, including 28 education sessions, eight Technical Workshops in traditional classrooms, and eight Fast Track sessions located on the show floor, will begin at 9:00am on Friday, April 21and continue throughout the weekend. The General Session will once again kickoff with the annual Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) Live Update will be presented by PERC CEO, Roy Willis, followed by Keynote speaker, Staff Sgt. Kenni Thomas, former U.S. Army Ranger. Award winning singer/songwriter, Ginny Owens will give a presentation/performance at the Prayer Breakfast on Sunday morning.
The Expo floor will highlight the Autogas Pavilion, sponsored by United Propane AutoGas Solutions Group, in a specially featured area, promoting propane as a leading alternative fuel and energy source. The Autogas Pavillon will feature manufacturing products, processes, education tools, and services specific to the rapidly growing autogas market.
Additionally, NPGA, in partnership with the PERC, will once again present the New Product Showcase, which will introduce new products and cutting-edge technologies that are changing the face of the industry.
In conjunction with the Expo, the Women in Propane (WIP) Council will be holding the Knowledge Exchange WIP Mentor Network program on Thursday, April 20th, and the WIP Leadership Forum at the Expo on Friday, April 21, 2017, featuring Kelly Bosak and Sarah Knight of Ferrellgas.
Activities also include the Expo Welcome Reception, Women in Propane Roundtable, Women in Propane Reception, and Young Gassers’ members’ reception for additional networking opportunities.
