Lock America Inc. of Corona, California, has announced that Robert Chen has been named as the company’s new national sales manager.
“We are pleased to acknowledge Robert’s creativity and performance in helping the company negotiate these challenging economic times," said Frank Minnella, CEO of Lock America. "He has spearheaded and supported our efforts to enter new markets and enhance our products for current and new customers. Robert succeeds Dan Walsh on Dan’s retirement.”
Lock America develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of security locks and hardware for many markets, including amusement and vending, ATM, information management, municipal government, petroleum and propane distribution, and self-storage.
Chen graduated from California State, Los Angeles, majoring in marketing with a minor in economics. He has an extensive background in sales management, operations management and market development, originally in the auto accessories industry, and with Lock America for the past five years. He looks forward to continuing to expand product offerings to current and new markets.
“Our goal is to develop customers at the manufacturing level. I’m committed to developing products that solve problems for our customers,” Chen said.
Chen's mission is to manage the development of new security lock and hardware products that complement 21st century technology singly and with industry partners. Minnella adds that he is certain that "Robert is the right person to lead that effort.”
