ThompsonGas (Frederick, Md.) has acquired Associated Propane Co. (Petaluma, Calif.), a propane provider in Northern California. ThompsonGas is proud to welcome Associated’s customers and employees to the ThompsonGas family, and are committed to serving the residential, commercial, and agricultural customers who have valued Associated Propane Co.’s service in the area for more than 60 years.
“We are pleased to announce that we have added Associated Propane to the ThomponGas team located in Petaluma, Calif. This new addition gives us the ability to expand our ever-growing California operations,” said Jeff Kerns, CEO.
“Our ability to add Associated Propane into our California market strengthens our local Northwest California footprint,” said Jim Davis, COO. “We are excited to watch the Petaluma team continue to grow and expand its service territory.”
Bryce Pattison, previous owner of Associated Propane, commented, “One of the main factors my partner, Sara Brandenburg, and I considered when selling our business was company culture. We needed a partner that would take care of our employees, customers, and community. Associated Propane and the ‘Flying A’ brand have been serving the North Bay’s energy needs for over 60 years. We’re confident ThompsonGas will continue that legacy into the future.”
This acquisition strengthens ThompsonGas’ national footprint by expanding the company’s presence in Northern California.
