(Nov. 8, 2016) Lori Murawski has joined Energy Distribution Partners (EDP; Chicago) as a general manager for CMP Energy in Phillipsburg, Pa., and Robert Mitchell has joined as operations manager of CMP Energy, which was recently acquired by EDP. Murawski, a CPA, has been with CMP Energy since 2012, most recently as its CFO, where she led an experienced team of industry professionals, including Mitchell.
During the National Propane Gas Association’s (NPGA) Fall board meeting, NPGA’s Women in Propane Council executive officers Kelly Bosak of Ferrellgas, chair of the business council, and Laurie Irish-Jones of Irish Propane and Irish Carbonic, vice-chair of the council, were confirmed to continue their roles for calendar year 2017. Milissa Lord of A.R.M. Solutions was named as treasurer, beginning her two-year term on Jan. 1, 2017. Founding chair Nancy Coop of Ferrellgas will remain on the executive board.
Women in Propane (WIP) announced committee leadership transitions, also beginning Jan. 1st. Jackie Hopkins, Sheldon Gas Co., will become chair of the programs & events committee, and Casandra Russo, AmeriGas, committee vice-chair. Loren Fenton, Ferrell North America, will chair the membership committee, and Jamie Fargnoli, Ehrhart Energy, will serve as its vice-chair. Kim Tucker, Griffith Energy Services, was named chair of the communications & marketing committee. Sarah Knight of Ferrellgas will continue in the role of project manager of The Knowledge Exchange: WIP Mentor Network.
Amzie Cooper has been promoted to the newly created position of marketing director for Conger LP Gas (Tifton, Ga.), with responsibility for leading the company’s marketing efforts in South Georgia. Cooper joined Conger LP Gas in 2014 in the dual role of customer service representative for the Sylvester office and marketing assistant for the entire company.
Jim Olson has joined Westmor Industries (Morris, Minn.) as territory manager for Wisconsin, serving customers throughout the state providing bobtail, refined fuel delivery truck, lube oil truck, and service truck needs. Olson was with Como Oil and Propane from 1999 to 2005, and again beginning in 2011 through the company’s acquisition by ThompsonGas. He has 11 years of industry experience in corporate leadership.
