Last month, Pinnacle Propane acquired United Propane and Collins Propane, jointly adding 8M gallons of volume in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of North Texas. This acquisition adds 15,000 customers to the Pinnacle portfolio, 52 new employees, and substantially strengthens Pinnacle's leading position in the fast-growing Texas market. In recent years, Pinnacle has completed 14 acquisitions, making it a top-three player in nearly all nine states it operates in.
Pinnacle Propane LLC was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Irving, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth. It retails about 65M gallons of propane and 10M gallons of refined fuels, and its operations include propane bulk retail and delivery, cylinder dispenser operations and community distribution gas systems. In 2017, Pinnacle Propane joined the family-owned company SHV Energy, one of the top-three global propane companies in the world.
