Faure Announces Retirement
After 32 years with FEI Inc., Joe Faure has announced his retirement from his position as vice president of the propane division. His official retirement date will be Dec. 31, 2022. As part of the leadership team for FEI, Faure has ushered in the growth and success of the propane division to fit the needs of dealers throughout the United States.
With the FEI acquisitions of Midwest Meter Inc. and MID:COM in 2020, Faure has continued these efforts to support and grow those operations as well.
FEI President and CEO Christy Fliflet values Joe’s long-standing commitment to FEI. “When FEI started, we were an ag fertilizer equipment supplier. When we entered the propane field, Joe was one of the key people that ensured we made the right steps in the right direction. The result has been the outstanding success of our propane division as we remain well-positioned for growth and expansion in the future.”
While preparing for his retirement, Faure will be working with Jim Reddington, who will replace him as vice president, to transition his roles and responsibilities with the company. Faure’s retirement plans include traveling and spending time with family at the lake.
Reddington Named VP for Energy Division
Jim Reddington recently joined the senior staff of FEI Inc. as the vice president of the energy division. He previously represented Marshall Excelsior, where he was the Western United States and Canada sales manager for the past seven and a half years. Reddington will be working alongside Joe Faure, the retiring vice president, and will transition into Faure’s responsibilities by the end of the year. He brings with him decades of experience in the fuel industry, including transportation and logistics.
Fliflet is excited about the transition. “We are delighted Jim has joined our team. Although he has big shoes to fill, we are confident he will help us reach our true potential as we welcome new opportunities into our company.”
