Mid-Month to Mid-Month: May Prices Up From April

During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, increased. The posted prices increased 11.625 cents/gal from April mid-month to May mid-month, while the spot prices increased 3 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 5 cents/gal, and spots increased 0.75 cents over the month. 

Mont Belvieu Postings 

The Mont Belvieu mid-April posted price was 85.5 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 2.125 cents to 87.625 cents/gal, followed by a 7.375-cent increase to 95 cents/gal. Postings decreased 3.875 cents to 91.125 cents/gal the first week of May. At mid-month, postings increased by 6 cents to 97.125 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in May 2025, the Mary 2026 prices were 10.561 cents higher. 

Conway Postings 

The Conway mid-April posted price was 77.56 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 1.935 cents to 79.495 cents/gal, followed by a 6.065-cent increase to 85.56 cents/gal. Postings decreased 6.94 cents to 78.62 cent/gals the first week of May. At mid-month, postings increased 3.94 cents to 82.56 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in May 2025, the May 2026 prices were 2.1 cents higher. 

Mont Belvieu Spots 

Mont Belvieu spots opened mid-April at 77.75 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 3.125 cents to 80.875 cents/gal, followed by a 2.625-cent increase to 83.5 cents/gal the next week. Spots decreased 5.5 cents to 78 cents/gal the first week of May. At mid-month, they increased 2.75 cents to 80.75 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in May 2025, the May 2026 prices were 4.75 cents higher. 

Conway Spots 

Conway spots opened mid-April at 73.25 cents/gal. The next week the price increased 1.75 to 75 cents/gal, followed by a 3.875-cent increase to 78.875 cents/gal the next week. Spots decreased 7.75 cents to 71.125 cents/gal the first week of May. At mid-month, they increased by 2.875 cents to 74 cents/gal. Compared to the same time in May 2025, the May 2026 prices remained flat at 74 cents/gal.
