Metsa Tanks Appoints New CFO
MONTERREY, NUEVO LEON, MEXICO, (Oct. 20, 2026) — Metsa Tanks, a North American propane tank manufacturer and distributor, announced several changes to its executive leadership team and board of directors to support the company’s continued growth.

Daniel Quiroga has been appointed chief financial officer and vice president of Sales, as well as secretary of the board of directors. With 12 years of leadership at Metsa Tanks, Quiroga brings a strong understanding of the company’s operations, financial management and the propane industry to his expanded role.
“Daniel has shown an incredible amount of growth over the years,” said Metsa Tanks CEO Robert Kenney. “He has been primarily responsible for creating and developing an international sales team that covers all of North America, opening new markets abroad, and establishing himself as a highly respected figure in the industry. As he turns his attention to the company’s internal operations, he will be crucial in shaping our financial and commercial strategy for continued success. I look forward to working with him in this new role.”
Metsa Tanks also announced the retirement of founder and board chairman Humberto Garza Perez. Following his retirement, the board of directors unanimously elected Humberto Garza Guerra as the new chairman of the board.
Garza Guerra, who served as CEO of Metsa from 2014 to 2019, led a major transformation of the company. During his tenure, he directed significant investments in modernizing production lines, launched Metsa Logistics Group and led the shift from a traditional job shop model to mass production.
“First off, I would like to recognize and thank Mr. Garza Perez for his inspirational leadership over the eight years we worked together,” said Kenney. “He is a great human being and a true representation of our values. I wish him the best in his next chapter. I would also like to welcome Humberto back to Metsa Tanks in his official position as board chair. His love for this company and high energy will surely be a great asset as we continue our strategic path. He is a high achiever, and I am sure that working together we will guide Metsa to new heights.”
These leadership changes build on Metsa Tanks’ history while preparing the company for its next chapter.
