ProCOT Hosting 3rd Annual Emergency Responders Event

The Propane Council of Texas (ProCOT) is inviting propane professionals to its 3rd annual Texas Propane Emergency Responders Training event Sept. 29-30 at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service’s Brayton Training Field in College Station. The emergency responders’ conference is a 16-hour education session that includes classroom training and live fire training. Instructors have extensive propane experience in addition to being firefighters.

The event is designed for anyone involved with propane-related emergency and incident response activities. The session will cover residential propane tank fire, barbecue cylinder fire control, propane transportation incidents and fire, and propane bulk plants and bulk plant fire.

Registration is $59 and includes two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner, and two days of training. Propane professionals licensed in Texas will receive eight hours of continuing education credit from the Railroad Commission of Texas. Registration for emergency responders is $140.
