PERC to Discuss Available Autogas Funding Opportunities on Upcoming Live Webinar

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is hosting a new webinar, “Propane Autogas Funding Opportunities,” as part of its “Propane Presents Technology Series” beginning at 2 p.m. EDT on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

During the live webinar, PERC’s Steve Whaley, director of autogas business development, will discuss available funding opportunities, including the Clean School Bus Program and paratransit opportunities through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Monte McLeod of ThompsonGas will discuss how the company and partnering fleets were recently awarded nearly $1 million for propane autogas projects. Likewise, Blossman Gas’s Eddie Waldrop will share how he secured funding for propane bobtails in his fleet.

“With diesel and gasoline prices where they currently are, fleets are already going to save big by switching to affordable propane autogas,” said Whaley. “Add in these funding opportunities and the savings are going to stack up tremendously. This is a chance for propane marketers to learn how to take advantage of available funding opportunities for themselves and pass it along to prospective customers.”

PERC’s “Propane Presents Technology Series” focuses on new and emerging propane technologies, education, and best practices to approach the ideal customer. Hosted and facilitated by PERC, in partnership with various OEMs, the series aims to showcase various propane products across multiple markets, answer questions directly from the industry and end-users, and provide relevant resources and training information.
