FREDERICK, Md. (July 16, 2021) — ThompsonGas, headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, announced the acquisition of Ultra Energy located in Hammond, Wisconsin.
Husband and wife Steve and Judy Guise founded the company in 2004 out of their home in River Falls, Wisconsin. In 2009, they built their current office and facility in Hammond.
“We are happy to welcome Ultra energy to our family of companies. Ultra Energy aligns with our vision in the Upper Midwest to strengthen our footprint and storage capabilities so we can provide a better service our customers,” said ThompsonGas Chief Operating Officer Jim Davis.
This acquisition further solidifies ThompsonGas’ footprint in Western Wisconsin and is ThompsonGas’ third acquisition of 2021.
