Shari VelazquezRegO Products announced that Shari Velazquez has been promoted to plant manager for its Conover, North Carolina, facility. Velazquez brings 24 years of operations experience to the role.

She began her career at RegO in January 1998 as an assembler/tester before being promoted to the main line group leader, where she continued in that role for 15 years. Velazquez subsequently served as operations support specialist for three years, shipping lead for three years and then operations supervisor for a little more than three years. Velazquez was promoted to production manager in December 2021, leading up to RegO's announcement of her promotion to plant manager this month.

In her new role, Velazquez will oversee operations to ensure safety and develop plans for smooth operation; manage production and budgets as well as the recruitment, training and onboarding of new employees; and analyze data to reduce inefficiencies and waste and to create reports to present to RegO executives on plant processes.

"One thing I would say to all female professionals: Never give up! Set your goal and don't stop," said Velazquez upon news of her promotion.
