Mankato, MN — Gas Equipment Company, Inc. (GEC) announced the official opening, Aug. 5th, 2024, of their newest location in Mankato, Minnesota. The new sales office and warehouse, which will serve Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, will continue to broaden access to equipment and provide better support for customers in the region.
The Mankato branch will offer a comprehensive range of equipment and parts for LPG, NH3 and Industrial Gas, reinforcing GEC’s commitment to make customers a top priority and enhance their experience with the company. GEC’s CEO, Gijs Majoor, expressed enthusiasm about this expansion, stating, "We are excited to bring GEC's reliable equipment solutions to the vibrant community of Minnesota," said Gijs Majoor, GEC CEO. The Minnesota team is comprised of experienced individuals including customer service manager, Travis Peek, who has previously worked as a branch manager and parts manager. Customer service representative, Brenda Hansen, who has an extensive customer service background in similar industries. And warehouse clerk, Jacob Sonnek with three years of previous warehouse experience. Each team member has undergone extensive training on GEC practices and equipment to ensure they are fully prepared to meet the needs of local customers.
A grand opening celebration is set to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mankato, MN branch.
