Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) has named three industry leaders to various roles in its organization: Bill Cummings as Northeast region vice president; Jay Werner as Western region vice president, and Laura Hawkinson as operational analyst.
As a new region vice president for EDP’s growing team, Cummings is responsible for leading operations management teams to achieve safety, service, quality and operational efficiency metrics. He will also work in conjunction with EDP’s corporate development team, assisting with sourcing acquisitions in the Northeast United States region.
Cummings began his career in the propane industry in the early 1980s working for a large energy provider. His work ethic has taken him to make change at the policy level, having roles within the Propane Gas Association of New England, the National Propane Gas Association and other large associations.
As a new vice president for EDP’s Western region, Werner is responsible for leading operations management teams to achieve safety, service, quality and operational efficiency metrics.
Werner is a leader with a proven history of focusing on business growth, revenue, and outstanding customer service. Werner brings a portfolio of accolades from having boots on the ground to serve at the customer level, to owner and chief executive officer.
As the new operational analyst for EDP, Hawkinson is responsible for producing impactful management reporting. Hawkinson has spent her entire career within the propane industry and has a leadership mindset, allowing her to achieve success at all levels of her professional career.
Hawkinson said, “I am excited to be a part of the talented team at EDP where the organization is keenly focused on growth and operational efficiency. In my role, I will help drive those goals by providing leadership with meaningful reporting and visibility tools to maximize company performance and profitability.”
