NAFA Fleet Management Association Recognizes Propane Company Among 100 Best Fleets

The NAFA Fleet Management Association recently announced its 2026 Best Fleets winners for the NAFA Fleet Management Association Institute & Expo. The program recognizes outstanding commercial fleets that demonstrate excellence in efficiency, innovation, and operational performance.

Among the commercial fleet award recipients was propane distributors and servicer Blossman Gas, which placed 19th out of 100. 

 “This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and our continued investment in efficient and sustainable fleet operations,” said Steve McCoy, vice president of Business Development. “We are especially proud of the progress we’ve made in expanding the use of propane autogas as a cleaner, more cost-effective transportation fuel.”

A key component of Blossman’s fleet strategy is its leadership in alternative fuel adoption through Alliance AutoGas, the company’s bi-fuel technology division. Of the company’s nearly 1,000 vehicles, more than 75% operate on propane autogas, which significantly reduces emissions and fuel costs. The resulting fuel savings support continued investment across the fleet, including vehicle replacement, maintenance, technology upgrades, and operational enhancements. With an average fuel mix of 79% propane and 21% gasoline, Blossman can reinvest in fleet operations and future improvements.

Other companies honored as recipients include Spire Energy, Essential Utilities and the 2026 winner Florida Power and Light. Public fleet operations were also recognized in the awards, with the City of Salem, Oregon, being award the “best public fleet.”
