Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Hit Jackpot In A System With Few Winners

The largest-ever lottery prize in U.S. history grabbed headlines recently as one lucky winner walked away with a cool $1.6 billion, wrote Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. But there’s another billion-dollar figure making news—and in this case, it’s plaintiffs’ lawyers who are hitting the jackpot.
