BPN Opens the 2026 Industry Innovators Contest
Birmingham, Ala. (April 15, 2026) — Butane-Propane News (BPN) has announced the opening of its 2026 Industry Innovators contest. BPN’s Industry Innovators is a special section dedicated to honoring the trailblazers propelling propane into the future.
What does an Industry Innovator look like? This nominee:
- Currently works in or is allied to the propane industry
- Brings a spirit of innovation to developing ideas that solve current challenges or anticipate future needs in their company or the industry as a whole
- Actively pursues learning or personal career growth opportunities to contribute to company and industry goals
- Focuses on making the propane industry a better place to work for the current and future workforce
BPN will only consider individual nominations for the award (no group nominations), though there is no limit to the number of individual nominations you can submit. The nomination period runs from April 15, 2026, to June 1, 2026. At the close of the nomination period, the BPN team will select finalists and profile them in the August 2026 print issue and on the BPN website. BPN started the annual Industry Innovators contest in 2022 with the intention of highlighting and recognizing individuals who are using innovative ideas and advocation for positive change to provide forward momentum for the industry.
