The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is offering a new webinar as part of its “Propane Presents Technology Series.” Created in partnership with Enginuity Power Systems, the webinar will be held at 2 p.m. EST on Nov. 19.

Enginuity Power Systems is producing a new generation of patented ultra-high-efficiency engines. During its live presentation, Enginuity Power Systems will discuss its micro-CHP system, an efficient generator that delivers hot water and heat on demand. The unit allows consumers to live comfortably on or off the grid, while saving them money. Additionally, participants will learn about Enginuity’s new private home generation system, which is on the cutting edge of green technology and can reduce the average home’s greenhouse gas emissions by well over 50%.

“Resiliency and sustainability are important topics in the industry right now, and this webinar is a great opportunity for construction professionals to learn more about how to not only give their customers reliable power and peace of mind, but how to do so with fewer emissions,” said Joseph Calhoun, associate director of business development at PERC. “Propane offers a number of key advantages, making it the ideal standby power fuel and a vital part of resilient design.”

By incorporating propane backup power into projects, builders can set their projects apart from the competition. Propane backup power can handle an entire home’s energy needs for days, unlike solar- or wind-powered systems. Plus, these systems are available in a wide variety of capacities, so there’s a model that can meet the needs of any size home or building.

PERC’s “Propane Presents Technology Series” focuses on new and emerging propane technologies, education, and best practices to approach the ideal customer. Hosted and facilitated by PERC, in partnership with various OEMs, the series aims to showcase various propane products across multiple markets, answer questions directly from the industry and end users, and provide relevant resources and training information.
