Time is running short for propane marketers to submit their 2019 Retail Propane Sales Report. Due on June 1, the sales report is conducted by ICF on behalf of the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). It is undertaken to determine the odorized propane sales to end-use sectors for the calendar year 2019 and is the only source of state-level end-use sector sales information for odorized propane.

The state level and end-use odorized propane sales information is required by PERC in order to fulfill specific requirements under the 1996 Propane Education and Research Act. Under the act, 20% of assessment collections are eligible for rebate back to the states. The allocation between the states is determined by the percentage of the total odorized propane sales in each state.
