Somersworth, NH — Friends, family, and colleagues were all on hand to help the Ermer family of Palmer Gas & Oil (PGO) cut the ribbon on the company’s newest branch in Somersworth, NH.

This state of the art facility combines office space with a parts warehouse, truck bays for service and delivery vehicles, and a full mechanics garage, and complements the fuel storage facility that was opened there in 2021. Industry-veteran Scott Cohen has been appointed branch manager.

Helping company-owner Bill Ermer cut the gold ribbon were his children Charlie Ermer, VP business operations and daughter Joanne Ermer, VP human resources & IT, as well as PGO general manager Peter Lacobucci, Somersworth Mayor Matt Gerding, and members of the Falls Chamber of Commerce, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and New Hampshire Motor Transport Association.

Award-winning Palmer Gas & Oil has been in the Ermer family for four generations and over 90 years. “We’re proud to be one of the largest providers of commercial and residential fuel, service, sales and installation in our delivery area. We are confident that Scott Cohen will bring the same core company values of friendly, simple, safe to our newest branch as we continue to expand our reach.”

In addition to its office headquarters in Atkinson, NH, and this latest branch in Somersworth, Palmer Gas & Oil also has an additional fuel storage facility in Raymond, NH.
